Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to revised pension benefits and other revised terminal benefits like Gratuity Arrears, Leave Salary Arrears and Pension Arrears, etc with interest at the rate of 12% Per Annum payable from the date of retirement of the petitioner to till the date of payment at the rate of 12% Per Annum payable for the said monetary benefits as per the VII th Pay Commission Tamilnadu Government Pension Orders 2017 before retired 2016 on the base of 233rd Board.

This contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order, dated 27.02.2019, made in W.P.(MD) No.4448 of 2019.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents furnished a copy of the instructions, dated 22.09.2021, issued to him by the respondents, wherein it is stated that the petitioner has received the amounts due to him based on the 7th Pay Commission Recommendations. The details regarding the retirement benefits settled to the petitioner have also been stated in the said instructions.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that some benefits are yet to be settled to the petitioner.
4. In such circumstances, it is for the petitioner to approach the Authority competent, if there is any difference in the calculation or further claim, if any, arises, for redressal of his grievance in the manner known to law.
