O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent police to provide protection basing on the representation dated 22.07.2023. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 22.07.2023 was closed after due enquiry, since the dispute between the petitioner and the unofficial respondent Nos.3 and 4 is purely civil in nature and a suit in O.S.No.42 of 2023 is also pending on the file of the II Additional District Court, Thoothukudi.

3.Since the representation of the petitioner dated 22.07.2023 has already been closed and since the dispute between the parties is seized by the civil Court, no direction can be given to the respondent police. 2/4

4.Accordingly, this Petition is closed.
