The petitioner, as against the proposal for upgrading the post of Managing Director in the cadre of Deputy Registrar of cooperative societies has filed this writ petition, seeking a writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from upgrading the post of Managing Director in the cadre of Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
2.When this writ petition was taken up for hearing in earlier occasion, this Court, by its order dated 08.08.2023 has granted an order of interim stay. Now, the respondents have filed an application to vacate the interim order.
3.Today, when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petitioner died on 23.06.2025 and therefore nothing survives in this writ petition. 3/6
