O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the First Information Report in Crime No.606 of 2020 registered on the file of the first respondent for the offences under Sections 341, 294(b) and 506(1) of I.P.C., and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act 2000 and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

2. The defacto complainant Mareeswari is present before this Court. She has been duly identified by Mr.R.Ravichandran, SSI, attached to Virudhunagar Rural police station. The defacto complainant states that she has no objection for quashing the impugned First Information Report. Since the defacto complainant herself does not want to pursue the matter, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned First Information Report alive.

3. Therefore, the impugned First Information Report is quashed. The benefit of this order will enure in favour of the nonhttps://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
