The petitioner with a grievance that a legal heir certificate has been fraudulently obtained by the third respondent by forging the petitioner's signature has preferred an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Srirangam on 13.06.2023 and has filed this writ petition for an early disposal of his appeal. 2.Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 on instructions submits that the appeal itself has been filed only on 13.06.2023 and the enquiry is under process.

3.Since no adverse order is going to be passed as against the third respondent, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with. 2/5

4.Considering that the appeal filed by this petitioner has been taken on file by the Revenue Divisional officer, Srirangam, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Revenue Divisional Officer to conclude the enquiry as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity to all the parties concerned. No costs.
