O R D E R

This petition for direction has been filed for forbearing the police authorities from harassing the petitioners in the guise of enquiry based on the complaint of the third respondent. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) pointed out that Crime No.409 of 2021 has already registered against the petitioners herein for the offences under Sections 294(b), 354 and 506(i) of IPC and Sections 3 (1)(r) and 3(1)(s) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

3.According to the petitioners, their son namely, Ramakrishnan fell in love with the third respondent and that they got married on their own. Thereafter, there arose differences of opinion between them and they appear to have split. Angered by the said development, the third respondent has been giving complaint after complaint against the petitioners before various police station. 4.Though the petition has been filed for restraining the police authorities from harassing the petitioners, taking note of the overall facts and circumstances, I mould the relief and this criminal original petition is disposed of with the following directions:- "(a) The petitioners shall surrender before the jurisdictional Court on 18.11.2021.

(b) The jurisdictional Court is directed to accept the said surrender and also dispose of the bail petition to be filed by the petitioners on the same day of surrender on merits and in accordance with law. (c) The petitioners as well as the police authorities are directed to intimate the defacto complainant about the proposed surrender on 18.11.2021."
