ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash FIR in Crime No.135 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent Police Station. 2.The case of the prosecution is that there was land dispute between "A Party" and "B Party" and there are several complaints in between the parties pending before the Revenue officials and also Police officials. Hence, in order to maintain the peace, the second respondent, who is the Special Sub-Inspector of Police attached to the first respondent Police Station, filed a complaint and a case was also registered in Cr.No.135 of 2022 under Section 145 Cr.P.C. Challenging the same, the present petition came to be filed. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that in order to maintain peace, a proceedings under Section 145 Cr.P.C. had been initiated as against the petitioner. However, now the period was lapsed and nothing survives for adjudication.

4.Recording the same, this criminal original petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to workout her remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 07.03.2024 NCC :
