ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4, Mr.V.Om Prakash, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the fifth respondent and Mr.T.S.Mohamed Mohideen, learned counsel, takes notice for the sixth respondent. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, notice to the 7th respondent is dispensed with.

2.The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the respondents 1 to 7 to remove the encroachment in Survey No.178 situated at Natham Main Road, near GH, Natham, Dindigul District based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2025.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, submitted that the authorities are ready to conduct joint survey with the assistance of the authority of the National 3/6

Highways of India and in the event of identifying any encroachment, the same will be removed by following the procedures as contemplated under law.

4.In view of the said submission, the official respondents are directed to conduct a survey, identify the encroachments, if any and remove the same by following the procedures as contemplated under law. The said exercise is directed to be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
