Respondents Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to life and limb of the petitioner for the purpose of cultivating his agricultural wet land in Survey No.153/9 and 153/10A admeasuring total square feet of 85 cents is situated at Kelathari Village, Sivagangai District.

O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioner for directing the police authorities to provide him police protection to enable him to cultivate the petition mentioned agricultural land.

2.The petitioner states that he is facing interference at the hands of the third respondent. If that be so, the only remedy open to the petitioner is to file an injunction suit before the jurisdictional civil Court. Filing of this criminal original petition is really misconceived. In fact, the second respondent themselves have enquired into the matter and closed the same on 08.11.2021 by calling upon the parties to move the competent civil Court. Leaving open the petitioner's rights and remedies, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
