Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

2. Issuance of notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner is a resident of Goripalayam. He alleges that in the petition-mentioned water body, there are encroachments. He wants them to be cleared. The petitioner has given representation 06.06.2025 in this regard. Since it was not acted upon, the present writ petition came to be filed.

4. We direct the respondents 2 and 3 to take effective action so that the encroachments are cleared. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondents 2 and 3 shall put all the encroachers on notice and adhere to due process of law before taking action. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
