Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, or any other appropriate with or order or direction in the nature of writ, directing the Respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2025 and thereby grant adequate police protection and to take appropriate action against the wrong doors thereby to cut and remove the age old trees belonging to the petitioner situated in the land in S.No.346/2B of Kadayal village, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District, within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court. ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to consider his representation dated 08.06.2025 to grant of adequate police protection and to take appropriate action against the wrongdoers, who have cut and removed the age old trees belonging to the petitioner, situated in the land in S.No.346/2B, Kadayal village, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District, within the time stipulated by this Court. 2/4

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that the petitioner has not lodged any complaint before the respondent police and he has also not enclosed any acknowledgement for having lodged such complaint.

3.Since the petitioner is not having any acknowledgement and the respondent police has also denied that they have not received any complaint, this Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to lodge a fresh complaint to the respondent police through registered post. On receipt of complaint, the respondent police shall consider the same in accordance with law.
