ORDER

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 to initiate appropriate action under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act and allied Rules and the Indian Penal Code and other penal provisions against the respondents 6 to 14 for their illegal quarrying activities.

2.When the matter came up for hearing today, learned Government Advocate has produced a copy of the proceedings dated 25.02.2023 and submitted that based on the representation of the petitioner, action is being taken as against one Vimala, Sasikumar and Mani / respondents 11 to 13 herein.

3.Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is closed as no further order is required to be passed. No costs. The action taken report shall be furnished to the petitioner. Index :
