ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner's life and property situated at Kollaikadu, Vattathikottai, Pattukottai, Thanjavur District, based on the CSR No. 215/2024 to take appropriate action, based on his representation dated 12.04.2025, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that, a civil suit is pending in OS No.92 of 2025 before the District Munsif Court, Pattukottai, between the petitioner and the fourth respondent and therefore, the respondents cannot meddle with the civil dispute.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission made, this writ petition stands dismissed, directing the petitioner to pursue the appropriate remedy before the civil Court in the pending civil suit. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
