Today, when the appeal came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent are appeared before this Court.

2.It is the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) that the appellant namely, Meenakshi died on 22.09.2020. In order to substantiate the same, he has produced the Death Certificate issued by the Madurai Corporation, wherein it was stated that the appellant died on 22.09.2020.
