ORDER
The petitioner, who is the defacto complainant in Cr.No.166 of 2024 on the file of the respondent Police, has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in the said case and to file the final report, within a time frame. 2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that the investigation in Cr.No.166 of 2024 has been completed and final report has also been filed, through E.Filing before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rajapalayam, on 20.03.2025. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission, this criminal original petition is closed. Mere filing of final report through E.Filing is not sufficient. It is the duty of the respondent Police to ensure that the final report is taken on file, within a reasonable time. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Rajapalaym is expected to take the final report on file, without further delay, if it is otherwise in order. gns 25.07.2025 2/4
