O R D E R

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to enter her name in the revenue records as per the assignment order R.C.No. 9343/07 dated 13.09.2007 in respect of 36 ares of land in survey No.103/4, Semmalapatti village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2.Mrs.R.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, the subject property was assigned in her favour by the Tahsildar, Thirumayam, by order dated 13.09.2007. However, the petitioner's name has not been included in the revenue 2/5

records including the digital records. Therefore, the petitioner submitted instant representation, dated 01.07.2025 before the respondents seeking inclusion of the petitioner's name in the revenue records, but the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents would submit that since the property situate in the subject survey number was assigned in favour of various beneficiaries, the Government has blocked the mutation in the revenue records. In view of the same, the third respondent cannot consider the request made by the petitioner and the competent authority to consider it is the Commissioner, Land Administration, who alone can pass necessary order for unblocking the revenue records.

5.In the view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to forward the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.07.2025 to the Commissioner, Land Administration, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The said authority shall consider the 3/5

representation of the petitioner and pass final order on its own merits, within a further period of twelve weeks.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
