This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the wrong entry such as Government land in S.No.332/7 with extension of 54 cents Nanja land situated at Mullipaadi Village, Kadavur, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District and issue patta in favour of the petitioner, by considering his representation, dated 30.08.2022.

2. The case of the petitioner is that his land in S.No.332/7 to an extent of 54 cents situated at Mullipaadi Village, Kadavur, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District was wrongly entered as Government land. Therefore, on 30.08.2022, he has sent a representation to the respondents, seeking to remove the wrong entry and to issue patta in his favour. The respondents have received the said representation on 31.08.2022. But still there is no step taken by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4. Considering the above facts, this Court directs the respondents to conduct an enquiry, on the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
