Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.D.R.MURUGESAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.RMS.SETHURAMAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender of the petitioner before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai, as ordered by this Court.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that since the petitioner was admitted in the hospital for taking treatment, he could not surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate concerned and produce the sureties within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.
