ORDER
The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is for a direction to direct the respondents to pay terminal benefits amount towards the gratuity amount, earned leave, surrender salary and pension arrears amounts etc., with interest at the rate of 18% per annum.
2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent made a submission that the terminal benefits due to the writ petitioner including gratuity amount, interest amount, provident fund, etc., had already been settled. In this regard, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted a letter signed by the Superintendent (Legal), Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Madurai Limited).
3.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner also confirmed that the writ petitioner had received the terminal benefits as settled by the respondent. The writ petitioner in person is also present before this Court. Accordingly, the grievance of the writ petitioner is redressed. However, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner states that arrears of dearness allowance as well as surrender leave salary of Rs.8,539/- is yet to be paid.
4.In respect of the said amount, the respondent is directed to settle the same, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
