PRAYER: Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant 40 days ordinary leave without police escort to petitioner's husband namely Jegadeesan @ Jegan, S/o. Sundarrajan (Convict Prisoner No. 23523) confined at Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli, by considering her representation, dated 17.06.2024 forthwith. This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to grant 40 days ordinary leave without police escort to petitioner's husband namely Jegadeesan @ Jegan, S/o. Sundarrajan (Convict Prisoner No. 23523) confined at Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli, by considering her representation, dated 17.06.2024 forthwith. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is stated that the representation given by the petitioner on 17.06.2024 had been rejected by the 3rd respondent vide order, dated 19.08.2024 in Order No. 106/Moo.vu/2024. Therefore, the petitioner has to question and challenge the particular order.

3.In view of the above, this writ petition stands dismissed by giving liberty to the petitioner to file necessary application in that regard in the manner known to law.
