Heard the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner.

2. Issuance of notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

3. The revision petitioner herein has filed R.L.T.O.P.No.3 of 2023 against the respondent for eviction. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that after the matter was posted for the respondent's evidence, he is adopting dilatory tactics. Section 36(6) of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act 2017 stipulates the time line of three months for disposal of such petitions.

4. Taking into account the overall facts and circumstances, I direct the learned District Munsif, Vallioor is directed to dispose of R.L.T.O.P.No.3 of 2023 within a period of three months from the next hearing date. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. This civil revision petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
