ORDER

The petitioner seeks a Mandamus to direct the first respondent / District Collector, Thoothukudi, to consider and dispose his representation dated 07.09.2014. He also seeks a consequential direction to the fourth respondent / a private party, upon whom service is complete and his name printed in the causelist, but who is not represented today, to run a mini-bus service from Kovilpatti, Hitchilapuram to Ulavar Santhai as per the stage carriage permit granted to the fourth respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

W.P(MD)No.18540 of 2014 2.No counter has been filed by respondents 1 to 3 till date, despite a last chance having been extended to them. The fourth respondent is also not present, despite service of notice. 3.Learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3 confirms the pendency of representation before the District Collector.

4.Thus, in the interests of justice and seeing as the representation dated 07.09.2014 is admittedly pending since September, 2014, a Mandamus is directed to the District Collector, Thoothukudi to dispose the same within a period of six weeks from today, after hearing the petitioner as well as fourth respondent, in accordance with law.

5.This Writ Petition is disposed in the aforesaid terms. No costs.
