This writ petition was filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the respondents 4 and 5. Page Nos. 2 of 6

2. Heard Mr.M.Siddharthan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that her son was taken into custody and he was attacked. Thereafter, he was produced before the concerned Magistrate Court and he was remanded to judicial custody. According to the petitioner, the medical examiner, on examining the son of the petitioner, found that he had sustained injuries.

4. In the considered view of this Court, if at all there was any injury sustained by the son of the petitioner in the hands of the police, the Magistrate would have ordered for an enquiry when injured was produced for remand. The same was not done in the present case.

5. In any event, this incident is said to have taken place in the year 2014 and no useful purpose will be served to order for an enquiry after Page Nos. 3 of 6

nearly eight years.
