ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to remove all the encroachments in the Peyadikottai Lake and Sri Thiruvettalagiya Ayyanar Temple Lands in 2/6

Survey Nos.186, 214 and 215 at Peyadikottai Village, Paraiyatur Hamlet, Avudaiyarkovil Taluk, Pudukottai District.

2. Heard Mr.M.Suresh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 and Mr.G.Mathavan, learned counsel appearing for the seventh respondent.

3. Considering the prayer sought for in the writ petition and also considering the fact that the representation has been made as early as in the year 2014, the writ petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondents 6 and 7 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the respondents 6 and 7 shall consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter.

4. With the above said directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
