This writ petition was filed for a Mandamus, directing the first respondent to conduct election for the Society namely, Periyakulam, Nilakottai, Uthamapalayam, Andipatti Taluks, Gaura Mathiya Sangam, Theni, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.10.2014.

2.Today (10.04.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first 2/5

respondent, by producing a written instruction, which he has received from the Registrar of the Societies, Periakulam in Na.Ka.No.2152/A2/2023, dated 10.04.2023 submits that pending this writ petition, three elections have been conducted in the above Society for the years 2014-2015, 2017-2018 and 2020-2021. 3.Recording the above written instruction submitted by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is closed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
