PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondent No.2 and 3 to take action against the Respondent No.4 to 11 by considering the petitioner's representation 03.08.2023 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the respondent police to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 03.08.2023.
2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the wife of respondent No.4 and the respondent Nos.5 to 11 are the brother-inlaw and other close relatives of the respondent No.4. It is submitted that on account of the dispute arose subsequent to the marriage of the petitioner and the respondent No.4, the petitioner has filed 4 complaints on various dates. However no action stated to have been taken by the police. According to the petitioner, first representation was given on 03.08.2023, but no action has been taken, therefore, sought for suitable directions.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that the representation given by the petitioner dated 03.08.2023 is registered as CSR.No.736 of 2023 and an enquiry is being initiated and summons have also been issued to the petitioner. However, the petitioner is not cooperating for the enquiry. It is submitted further that the enquiry is posted to 13.08.2023. 4.Considering the circumstances, this Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.08.2023 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, not later than 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
