.. Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating

to the order dated 25.10.2014, on the file of the first respondent and to quash the same and direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner to the post of Assistant Professor - III in the respondent institution, with all such monetary and other benefits, as accrued to him, within a time frame as maybe fixed by this Court.

ORDER

As per the orders of this Court dated 31.10.2023, both the learned counsels for the petitioner as well as the first respondent submits that matter has been compromised and a joint compromise memo has been entered into on 06.11.2023. The joint compromise memo reads as follows: "JOINT COMPROMISE MEMO FILED BY THE PETITIONER AND THE RESPONDENT Both the parties unanimously resolved the dispute between themselves and entered into a compromise with the following terms:-

● That the original certificates of the petitioner were already handed over to the petitioner and no other document of the petitioner is in the custody of the respondents.

● The 1st respondent has withdrawn the impugned order and issued a fresh relieving order dated 06.11.2023 to the petitioner.

● As full satisfaction, the 1st respondent has paid a sum of Rupees Rs.2,37,500/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Thirty Seven Thousand and Five Hundred Rupees only) by a DD No. 929390 dated 06.11.2023 to the Petitioner.

● The petitioner hereby relinquishes all his future claims against the respondents.

The parties mutually pray for the disposal of the above writ petition in the W.P.(MD) No. 18791 of 2014, on the file of the Madras High Court, Madurai Bench as per the above terms and the memo of compromise may be recorded and it shall be a part of the Order in W.P.(MD) No. 18791 of 2014. Dated at Madurai on this 06th day of November, 2023."

2. I do not find anything illegal or contrary to law in the said terms of the compromise memo. This Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of the compromise. There shall be no order as to costs. 21.11.2023 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No Lm
