ORDER
This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
2. This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to direct the second respondent herein to Register/File the Form-VII submitted by the petitioner/Society on 21.10.2024 under Rule 17(2) of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Rules, 1978 with regard to the change effected in the Constitution of Executive Committee of the petitioner/society.

It is informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that a suit in O.S.No.17 of 2023 is pending at the behest of one G.Parameswaran Naidu and Dr.B.Krishna Prasad against the petitioner/Society and its erstwhile President and General Secretary, Treasurer before the Principal District Munsif Court, 2/5
Padmanabhapuram.
4. It is informed that the suit has become infructuous, as the prayer is for removal of the erstwhile President, General Secretary, Treasurer and to not convene Executive Committee Meeting that was proposed to be held on 11.02.2023.
5. It is informed that a fresh election was held on 10.03.2024 and that the election was held in the presence of an Advocate, who was the Election Officer, and in the presence of the General Body Members of the petitioner/Society.
6. Since there are no other suits pending and no interim order was secured against the petitioner/Society, there can be no impediment on the second respondent to register the Form-VII, filed on 21.10.2024 under Rule 17(2) of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Rules, 1978. In any event, the second respondent may examine the records and register Form-VII in accordance with 3/5
the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 and Rules made thereunder within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
