O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to issue patta in respect of 13.5 cents in survey No.305/2, Regunathapuram Village, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District as per final decree passed in I.A.No.94 of 2011 in O.S.No.18 of 2010 on the file of Additional Sub Court, Kumbakonam.

2.Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Since no adverse order is passed against the second respondent, notice to him is dispensed with. 3.According to the petitioner, the above mentioned property was allotted to him in the final decree passed by the Civil Court in the above mentioned suits. Based on the same, he applied for issuance of patta and the first respondent passed an order in TR.No.2024/0103/21/457817TR, dated 26.12.2024, issuing new patta in the name of the petitioner in patta No.1371 only for 3 ares. Therefore, the petitioner submitted the instant representation dated 13.05.2025 before the first respondent seeking issuance of patta for 13.5 cents as allotted in the final decree but the 2/5

same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for first respondent would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with the law. 5.In the view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, second respondent and other interested parties.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
