Prayer :- Criminal Appeal is filed under section 372 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying this Hon'ble Court to set aside the order dated 07.08.2015 made in C.A.No.15 of 2012 on the file of the Sessions Judge, Sivagangai modifying the judgment dated 16.02.2012 in C.C.No.384 of 2001 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi.

ORDER:- Criminal Appeal coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.A.K.Hemaraj, Advocate for the Appellant and of Mr.V.S.Kumaraguru, Advocate for the Respondent, this Court made the following order:

When the case came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the case is likely to be settled and already a cheque had been issued to the respondent, based on the amicable settlement arrived between them. The Cheque had been dated 01.07.2021. Therefore, after collection of the amount, the case is likely to be settled. Therefore, the learned counsel for the appellant seeks to post the case on 02.07.2021 so that they can report settlement.

2.For reporting settlement, both the parties shall appear before the Registrar(Judicial) of this Court and file an affidavit regarding settlement.
