ORDER

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner as against the orders of the third respondent to cut down the trees for the purpose of widening of roads. 2.When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioner / party-inperson submitted that the respondents have laid the road without cutting much trees and that a banyan tree, aged about 350 years, is still standing. Therefore, he is not pressing this writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission and the endorsement so made by the petitioner, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
