(Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.) The review application is filed to review the order dated 29.10.2020 passed in W.A(MD)No.956 of 2020.

Learned counsel appearing for the review petitioner has produced a copy of G.O.(Ms)No.248, Higher Education (F2) Department, dated 08.11.2022, wherein the Teachers Recruitment Board was directed to cancel the notification for direct recruitment of 2331 posts of Assistant Professors and to issue a fresh notification for direct recruitment of 4000 posts of Assistant Professors by following the method of written competitive examinations and also to notify that the candidates, who have already applied under the earlier notification, will be considered and that they need not apply afresh. The said G.O protects the rights of the review petitioner. 2/4

In the light of G.O.(Ms)No.248, Higher Education (F2) Department, dated 08.11.2022, the order passed in W.A(MD)No.956 of 2020, dated 29.10.2020, is set aside and the Review Application is allowed.
