[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side), takes notice for respondents 1, 5, 6 and 7.

2. Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 2, 4 and 8.

3. Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Standing Counsel takes for the third respondent.

4. This writ petition is filed to forbear the respondents from granting permission to the Madurai Law College Students to conduct the event of birth and death anniversary of communal / political leaders in front of Government Law College, Madurai, by considering the representation dated 31.07.2024.

5. The learned Government Pleader upon instructions would submit that no permission is granted for conduct of any programme either inside or in front of the college. He would add that few students of the college joined together and observed certain rituals on 04.09.2024 in memory of V.Immanuvel Sekaran. According to the learned Government Pleader, there is no large scale celebrations which affect the normal functioning of the college or other activities.

6. Hence, we see no reason to entertain this writ petition and the same is dismissed. No Costs.
