JUDGMENT

This Criminal Appeal is directed against the Judgment of acquittal passed in Special Case No.11/2014, dated 25.06.2015 by the Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Tirunelveli.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the appellant filed a memo of proof along with the death certificate of the respondent / accused stating that the respondent / accused died on 06.07.2017. The said memo is recorded. The counsel for the respondent is also present.

3. In view of the same, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
