The petitioner challenges the action of the respondents in constructing a slaughter house in survey No. 1197/1 of Vallioor panchayat, Tirunelveli District.

W.P.(MD) No.19006 of 2014 2.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would produce a proceedings of the Deputy Director of Panchayats, dated 28.03.2018 and would submit that the Deputy Director of Panchayats, Tirunelveli Zone, Tirunelveli-7 has been suspended from service, in view of pendency of this writ petition. He would further submit that the proposal in respect of construction of a slaughter house in survey No. 1197/1 Vallioor panchayat, Tirunelveli District has been cancelled.

3.Taking on file the proceedings, dated 28.03.2018 and also the submission of the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is closed as nothing survives for adjudication. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
