Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents no.1 to 3 to issue separate patta in connection with Survey No.844/2, 844/3 and 844/4 situated at Palaviduthi Village, Kadavur Taluk, Karur District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2025 within time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to issue separate patta in respect of the property situated in Survey Nos. 844/2, 844/3 and 844/4 at Palaviduthi Village, Kadavur Taluk, Karur District, by considering his representation dated 18.07.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.D.S.Haroon Rasheed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. Since no adverse
order is passed against the respondents 4 to 8, notice to them is dispensed with.
3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.According to the petitioner, the subject property was originally purchased by the petitioner's paternal grandmother, Ilanchiyam @ Ilanchiyathammal. She executed a registered Will dated 23.08.2016 bequeathing the subject property in favour of her descendants. Thereafter, there was an unregistered arrangement on 15.03.2023 among the descendants of the above said Ilanchiyam @ Ilanchiyathammal. Based on the said arrangement, the petitioner submitted a representation on 18.07.2025, seeking issuance of separate patta. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, private respondents 4 to 8 and the descendants of the above mentioned Ilanchiyam @ Ilanchiyathammal. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
