PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's UDR appeal (B5/2018) pending before the respondent herein dated 20.07.2018 and pass order in accordance with law within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Today(10.08.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for admission, Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent submits that there are 24 respondents in the appeal and at the instance of one after another, the proceedings are getting delayed. 3.Considering the case of the petitioner that the appeal of the year 2018 has not been concluded so far, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
