O RDER This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.562 of 2020 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner / defacto complainant filed a complaint against the proposed accused, basing on which, the respondent Police registered a case in Crime No.562 of 2020 for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 452, 341, 506 (i) and 379 of I.P.C. It is submitted that after examination of ten witnesses in respect of the eight accused, the respondent Police have concluded that there is no cognizable offence against the petitioner and accordingly, the investigation in Crime No.562 of 2020 was closed as "Mistake of Fact" in the year 2020. It is also further submitted that RCS notice was also served on the petitioner on 07.11.2020 and final report has already been submitted before the Judicial Magistrate Court.
3. Since the investigation has already been completed and final report stated to have been filed in the year 2020, no further directions can be given. 2/4
Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
