ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to 1/4

direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that FIR came to be registered in Crime No.25 of 2024 against the petitioner's son under the provisions of POCSO Act and he is absconding, that the second respondent went to the petitioner's house for searching the petitioner's son and that there is no question of harassment.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that after receipt of summons, the petitioner appeared before the second respondent and has given a statement that they are liberty to take whatever action against her son, but the second respondent has been directing her to reside outstation. But the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent has not given any such direction. Whatever it is, since the case is pending against the petitioner's son, the second respondent is directed not to harass the petitioner but at the same time, in case of getting particulars of the whereabouts of her son, the petitioner is duty 2/4

bound to disclose the same to the police.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
