ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the third respondent to survey the land with the aid of the first respondent on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2019.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner seeks police protection to survey his land comprised in Survey No. 132/2A2 and 132/2A1B situated at Athirampattinam, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) would submit that there is a land dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent and proceedings is pending before the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer.

It is also seen that the petitioner had paid requisite fee before the second respondent to survey his land and on receipt of the requisite fee the third respondent has to survey the land as requested by the petitioner. If the surveyor, namely the third respondent feels any hindrance to survey the land belonging to the petitioner, the third respondent can very well seek police protection from the jurisdiction police.

5. If the third respondent,namely the surveyor seeks police protection the concerned police officer is directed to consider the same and and provide necessary police protection to the third respondent, namely Surveryor, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District while surveying the petitioner's land situated at Athirampattinam, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
