ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed challenging an order passed by the State Information Commission, under which, they have refused to furnish information relating to 16 appeals that were presented by the writ petitioner.

According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, 16 second appeals were presented by the writ petitioner before the State Information Commission, which arises out of not passing of orders or not furnishing information from several Public Information Officers. The petitioner has sought for the status of all the 16 appeals, by way of a representation, dated 05.06.2013. Under the impugned order, the Information Commission has informed that already action has been initiated and orders have been passed in all the 16 appeals. However, the petitioner not being satisfied with the said order has challenged it in the present writ petition.

According to the learned Counsel appearing for the State Information Commission, all the appeals presented by the writ petitioner were disposed of and directions have been issued to the respective Public Information Officers to provide information as sought for by the writ petitioner. However, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that such orders have not been received by him. In case, if the concerned Public Information Officers have not furnished the information as directed by the State Information Commission, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the State Information Commission for initiating appropriate proceedings.

4. With the above said observations, the writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
