Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.p.c To pass an order to call for the records pertaining to C.C.No. 79 of 2018 on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul and quash the same as illegal forthwith.

ORDER:- These Criminal original Petitions coming on for hearing on this day in the caption for "Extension of time" and upon perusing the earlier order of this court dated 12.11.2019, and the requisition letter submitted by the Judicial Magistrate No.II (FAC), Dindigul vide the letter in D.No.3877/ 2023 dated 22.12.2023, through Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dindigul this Court made the following order: This Court vide orders dated 12.11.2019 directed the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul to complete the trial in C.C.Nos.79 & 80 of 2018, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

2. Now, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II (FAC), Dindigul vide a letter dated 22.12.2023 bearing D.No.3877/2023 has expressed her inability to complete the trial and dispose of the cases in C.C.Nos.79 & 80 of 2018 and sought extension of time to dispose of the same.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II (FAC), Dindigul in her letter dated 22.12.2023, this Court is inclined to extend the time to dispose of the cases in C.C.Nos.79 & 80 of 2018. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.II (FAC), Dindigul is directed to dispose of the cases in C.C.Nos.79 & 80 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible.
