Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.252 dated 05.10.2012 issued by the first respondent and quash the same in so far as the modalities adopted for giving weightage of marks for Secondary Grade Teachers in Serial No.1 and consequently direct the second respondent to appoint the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher based on other eligibility. ORDER

The present writ petition is filed challenging the Government Order issued in G.O.Ms.No.252, dated 5.10.2012. The said Government Order was earlier quashed by the High Court and the consequential Government Order issued was revised by order made in G.O.Ms.No.71, School Education (TRB) Department, dated 30.05.2014. The said G.O.Ms.No.71 was also challenged before the High Court and the matter went upto Supreme Court and finally the Apex Court upheld the validity of the Government Order issued in G.O.Ms.No.71 in the case https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.1923/2014 of V.Lavanya & Ors Vs. The State of Tamil Nadu & Ors, reported in 2017(1) SCC 322.

2. This being the factum, the present writ petition deserves no further adjudication and accordingly, stands disposed of as infructuous.

No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
