ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(2) of IPC, in 1/3

Crime No.Not known of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has received a sum of Rs.5 Lakhs and 19 sovereigns of gold jewels from the defacto complainant and returned only a sum of Rs.4,25,000/-. When the defacto complainant asked for the balance amount with interest and the jewels, the petitioner threatened her with dire consequences. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent, he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He has been falsely implicated in this case. He seeks for the relief of anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the very same money transaction dispute, a complaint has been given by the defacto complainant. Enquiry is still pending in this case.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police and co-operate with the investigation. If any trouble arises during the course of investigation, the petitioner is at liberty to workout remedy through appropriate proceedings.

6. With this direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
