[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the first respondent to remove the encroachments made by respondents 2 to 5 in Periya Street, East Part, Muthukrishnapuram, Kadayanallur, Tenkasi Taluk,
2. With reference to the complaint of the petitioner that respondents 2 to 5 have encroached upon the public land, the first respondent is directed to conduct field inspection, survey and identify the encroachments, if any, and in the event of such identification, all further enforcement actions are directed to be initiated to remove the 2/4
encroachments by following the procedures as contemplated under the relevant Act and Rules. The said exercise is directed to be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
