ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to grant 21 days Ordinary Leave without escort to the petitioner's brother namely Mahamani, S/o. Mariyappan, Life Convict Prisoner, PID.No.35366 confined at Central Prison, Trichy, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 25.05.2025.

2. Heard Mr.K.A.S. Prabhu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Nambi Selvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case and the limited relief sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider

the representation made by the petitioner dated, 25.05.2025 strictly in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
