ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to expedite the trial and dispose the R.L.T.O.P.No.1 of 2022 pending on the file of the learned Rent Court (District Munsif), Lalgudi within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the revision petitioner, the revision petitioner filed a rent control application before the learned Rent Court (District Munsif), Lalgudi in R.L.T.O.P.No.1 of 2022 to vacate the house property. The first respondent also moved a due process of lawsuit before the very same Court in O.S.No.51 of 2022. In order to drag on the proceedings, the respondents filed many I.A. Applications. Finally, I.A.No.7 of 2024 has been filed to appoint the Commissioner after two years from the date of suit and the same is also dismissed by its order, dated 05.06.2024, even though the main case is not at all contested by the respondents and they are dragging the proceedings since 2022. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition is filed for early disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for petitioner. Since the 2/5

revision is filed for seeking early disposal, no notice is necessary to the respondent.

4. Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, a direction may be issued to the learned Rent Court (District Munsif), Lalgudi, to expedite the trial and dispose the case as expeditiously as possible.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the learned Rent Court (District Munsif), Lalgudi to expedite the trial and dispose the R.L.T.O.P.No.1 of 2022 pending on his file, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
