COMMON PRAYER : Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of declaration, declaring that the impugned amendment to Rule 12 of the Tamil Nadu Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2011, issued vide G.O.Ms.No.144, School Education (GE) dated 18.09.2014 and published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary No.192 dated 19.09.2014 and consequential proceedings bearing Na.Ka.No.7419/A2/2014 dated 25.11.2014 issued by the fifth respondent are illegal, unconstitutional and ultra-vires the provisions of the Central Act No.35 of 2009.
