PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 to 5 herein from proceedings any further with the construction of the Government Net Centre and Tower Building (E Seva Kendra) on the Santhankulam Oorani, comprised in Survey No.91/1, situated at Sathankudi, Thirumangalam (Taluk), Madurai (District), based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2022. [Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1, 2 & 4 and Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 3 & 5.

2. With the consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents from proceeding further with the construction of a Government Net Centre and Tower Building (E Seva Kendra) in Santhankulam Oorani, in Survey No.91/1 of Sathankudi Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2022.

4. Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 3 and 5, on instructions, submitted that the grievance of the petitioner is nothing but a superfluous as there is no proposal with the Government for construction of Government Net Centre and Tower Building (E Seva Kendra) in the subject area.

5. Recording the above submission, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
