The Petitioners herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to dispose of his representation, dated 16.60.2025. 2.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the Petitioner, the property in S.Nos.822/12 and 822/13 situated in S.Vellankudi Village, Thirupatthur Taluk, Sivagangai District is their ancestral property. During UDR updation, sub-division was effected and S.NO.822/13 was classified as 'pathway'. Aggrieved by the same, the Petitioner submitted a representation on 16.06.2025 seeking cancellation of sub-division effected in respect of S.No.822/13 and for issuance of patta in the name of Petitioners. The same has not been considered till date. Hence the Petitioners have come before his 2/5
court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 4.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the Petitioners will be considered in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioners, dated 16.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after affording reasonable opportunity to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
